Pioneer Days

Be ready for a fun-filled series of 18th and 19th century games, pioneering challenges,
and demonstrations, designed for Scouts of all ages.
The event will be held Saturday, April 26th, 2008, at Jim Edgar Panther Creek State Fish and Wildlife Area.
Sign-in begins at 8:00 am at the west shelter in the group camp area.
Cost will be $5.00 and each participant will receive a patch.
Participants may start beginning at 9:00 a.m. Activities will conclude by 4:00 p.m.

9 a.m. - noon: Fishing Derby (age 16 and over must have Illinois fishing license) | |
5 p.m. Mass, St. Augustine Catholic Church (in Ashland) | |

5 p.m.: Non-denominational Worship Service |
Be prepared!
Activities will be available all day, and registrants may choose to participate in as few or as many as they wish.
Pack a sack lunch
if you plan to participate in Pioneer Days activities for more than a few hours.(No food concessions are permitted at Panther Creek.)
