About the STEAM Program

What is S.T.E.A.M.

What is STEAM? It is an interdisciplinary approach to learning that combines Science, Technology/Robotics, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. It fosters creative problem-solving, collaboration, and critical thinking through hands-on activities. It also aims to spark an interest in arts and sciences in children from an early age, that may have otherwise not been discovered.

Mission

Our mission with the STEAM program, specifically the Vortex, is to offer additional resources to as many children in central Illinois and enhance their STEAM experience.

Vision

Or vision is to develop future leaders in the STEM industries by delivering resources to schools, community centers, and scouting.
